Vol. 7 No. 1 (2024): Regular Issue
The articles published in Teknomekanik Volume 7, Issue 1 (2024) showcase recent advances in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, manufacturing systems, computational intelligence, optimization techniques, civil engineering applications, and interdisciplinary engineering research. This issue brings together 7 research articles authored by 35 researchers from 14 institutions across 10 countries, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia, Serbia, Slovakia, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

These contributions reflect the journal’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and promoting the exchange of engineering knowledge across diverse scientific and technological communities.
The published papers address a broad range of contemporary engineering challenges, including the evaluation of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods for plastic injection molding machine selection, enhancement of the mechanical properties of polylactic acid through cellulose nanocrystal reinforcement, quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) modeling of FLAP inhibitors using kernel partial least squares techniques, hybrid ant colony optimization approaches for dynamic vehicle routing problems in waste collection systems, experimental investigation of propane adsorption behavior using activated carbon materials, comparative forecasting methods for product inventory management, and the application of ground penetrating radar (GPR) for post-earthquake assessment of foundation structures. The issue highlights the growing integration of advanced materials engineering, optimization algorithms, computational modeling, data analytics, sustainable process technologies, and intelligent engineering solutions to address industrial and societal challenges.
