Journal Sponsorship and Business Models

Teknomekanik is technically and financially supported by Universitas Negeri Padang, however it does not take a part on editorial decisions. The editorial decisions are on the grounds of suitability for the journal scope, impact and overall quality of the manuscript. 

Universitas Negeri Padang is a legal entity university that manages and develops education autonomously. Therefore, Universitas Negeri Padang is required to generate income independently. In relation to this policy, Teknomekanik, a journal organized by Universitas Negeri Padang, will apply an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 350 for manuscripts accepted for publication. This policy will take effect starting from Volume 8, Issue 2 (2025).

In addition, for manuscripts written in English that do not meet the required language quality standards, a proofreading fee of USD 250-350 will be applied to ensure the accuracy and readability of the published article.

Remittance fees and taxes are the responsibility of the author.
