Teknomekanik is technically and financially supported by Universitas Negeri Padang, however it does not take a part on editorial decisions. The editorial decisions are on the grounds of suitability for the journal scope, impact and overall quality of the manuscript. 

Universitas Negeri Padang is a legal entity university which organizes and improves education autonomously. Thus, Universitas Negeri Padang needs to generate income independently. Regarding it, Teknomekanik which is organized by Universitas Negeri Padang enforces Article Publication Cost (APC) for USD200 (International Corresponding Author) or Rp. 3.000.000 (Indonesia Corresponding Author) to articles which are accepted for publication in Teknomekanik, starting from Vol. 7 issue 1 2024.
