Teknomekanik Partnership Program

Overview

Teknomekanik offers research centers and scholarly institutions the opportunity to join the Teknomekanik Partnership Program (TPP), a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen institutional engagement, ensure transparency in the submission and editorial process, and provide Free Article Processing Charges (Free APC) for accepted articles from affiliated researchers.

Through flexible partnership arrangements, Teknomekanik accommodates diverse institutional needs while supporting Open Access publishing and enabling authors to disseminate their research in fully Open Access journals without financial barriers.

Partner benefits

  • Participating institutions receive recognition as official partners of Teknomekanik and enhanced visibility through the journal website.

  • Researchers affiliated with partner institutions receive Free APC for accepted articles published in Teknomekanik.
  • Partner institutions may collaborate with the journal in special issues, international conferences, academic events, and other scholarly activities.
  • A dedicated contact point at Teknomekanik is provided for coordination and institutional support.

  • Language Editing Services are available through Teknomekanik’s partners and require separate payment.

Partnership models

Institutions enter into a non-financial partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Negeri Padang as the Publisher and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Teknomekanik, under which partner institutions receive an annual quota of three (3) Free APC articles, while manuscripts exceeding the quota are eligible for a 50% APC discount.

Free APC is applicable only to manuscripts in which the first author and/or the corresponding author is affiliated with a partner institution that has an active cooperation agreement with Teknomekanik.

Affiliation Verification: Authors are required to submit a formal letter of declaration from the partner institution. The editorial team will verify author affiliation based on the submitted information. Upon successful verification, the editor will issue an official Free APC confirmation letter.

The partnership shall be valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of agreement and may be extended upon mutual consent.

Publication workflow

Manuscripts submitted by affiliated authors undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process. Upon acceptance, Free APC or applicable discounts are applied in accordance with the partnership agreement.

The maximum number of articles published per issue under this partnership scheme is one article per partner institution.
