Current Issue
The articles published in Teknomekanik Volume 9, Issue 1 (2026) showcase recent advances in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, energy systems, computational modeling, mechatronics, and industrial applications. This issue brings together 8 research articles authored by 46 researchers from 18 institutions across 9 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Poland, Brazil, and Pakistan.
The published papers address a broad range of contemporary engineering challenges, including corrosion resistance of coated stainless steels in geothermal environments, heat treatment and mechanical performance of metal matrix composites, exergy-based analysis of heavy-duty diesel engines, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) optimization of centrifugal fan performance, vibration-based flow-rate estimation in industrial piping systems, denoising techniques for distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) data, low-cost unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) development, and the thermal–mechanical behavior of sustainable cellulose-based materials. The issue highlights the growing integration of experimental investigations, numerical simulations, optimization techniques, and data-driven approaches to improve engineering performance and sustainability.
In line with the journal’s focus and scope, this issue contributes to the advancement of knowledge in mechanical systems, materials and manufacturing technologies, thermofluids and energy engineering, computational and simulation-based engineering, automation and control systems, and interdisciplinary engineering applications. The findings presented in these studies provide valuable scientific insights and practical solutions for researchers, educators, industry practitioners, and policymakers working toward innovative and sustainable technological development.
